The conference teams you up and turns you loose on Thursday afternoon for unique team building events. The activities are fun – but the more importantly, they allow you to interact with other professionals and get to know them. See their strengths and assess how they work as a team on the activity’s challenge.

Wine Blending
Learn wine flavor and chemistry facts from a sommelier and how the component wines are
selected for blending. Your team will be given the single grape wines to mix your team’s
blend. Your team’s blended wine will be judged on taste, wine label, presentation and your
marketing program.

Geo-caching – Get outdoors and enjoy the California summer sunshine while walking and geocaching. Teams are tasked with completing different challenges using both their minds and bodies in order to earn their clues. Each team uses a GPS unit to guide the team throughout the La Costa property searching for clues and finding and exchanging objects.

Culinary - Each team will be given a basket of specific ingredients that they must incorporate into two prepared menu items of the team’s choice. Each chef team will collaborate to invent and prepare their culinary delights. Teams present their marketing plan and dish names while the Executive Chef judges taste test the dishes and score the team.
